🏀 B-BALL: Beyond Barriers and Limitations

B-BALL is a European initiative funded under the Erasmus+ 2024 programme that uses basketball as a tool for the social integration of young people with disabilities. 🇷🇸 The Serbia Event
9–11 May 2025 | BelgradeHosted by KK IBC Belgrade, the Serbian event brings together participants from across the country and partner organizations. The three-day programme combines sports activities, workshops, and cultural exchange, all focused on promoting inclusion and empowerment through basketball.

Guided walking tour through central Belgrade – exploring cultural landmarks and the city’s vibrant atmosphere.22:30

A day dedicated to movement, cooperation, and the unifying power of sport. All activities are designed to foster inclusion, with children with developmental disabilities and their peers playing, training, and growing together.07:30 – 08:15

Morning training session and inclusive games at the sports hall of "Veljko Dugošević" Primary School – joint training for children with and without disabilities, focused on skill-building and mutual encouragement.11:15

Inclusive tournament games at "Veljko Dugošević" Primary School –
Afternoon session focused on teamwork and inclusion. Mixed-ability teams compete in a spirit of respect and cooperation. The emphasis is not on winning, but on playing together, breaking barriers, and celebrating every participant’s contribution.17:15

Visit to KK Crvena Zvezda’s trophy hall, followed by casual play on the historic open-air courts.
Children get a feel for basketball tradition, while playing freely together in a relaxed and supportive environment.12:00

Group walk and exploration of the shopping center – an opportunity for social interaction, inclusion through shared experiences, and light fun outside of sport.13:30 – 14:15
Farewell lunch at Walter, a traditional serbian restaurant – sharing one last meal in celebration of community and togetherness.14:30
